MonoBeat; a Latin Rock-Pop band hailing from Washington, DC established in 2014 will be playing a tribute show to Robi Draco Rosa. Draco Rosa is an accomplished multiple-time Grammy and Latin Grammy winning singer and renowned songwriter with a large International fan base. Aside from this tribute show, the band mainly plays Latin Rock Classics, top 40 hits and originals throughout the Northern Virginia/DC/MD area.


They released their debut EP in July of 2015, which was well received in their hometown. MonoBeat sold out of their debut EP (1,000 copies) and has amassed over 1,090 followers online. The band has played in numerous local (and Philadelphia) venues such Velvet Lounge, Tropicalia, Zeba Bar and IOTA along with established Latin Rock bands such as Zakke and Tres Minutos. The band contains seasoned musicians who have played in larger venues such as the Howard Theatre, Rock and Roll Hotel, The Fillmore Silver Spring and as part of Back to the 90’s shows in Jammin Java.

Robi Draco Rosa is a multiple-time Grammy and Latin Grammy winning musician, singer, songwriter, composer,
multi-instrumentalist, dancer, record producer and entrepreneur. Throughout his career Draco Rosa has continued to
amass a very strong fan base all over the world including the Northern Virginia/DC/Maryland area.
Rosa originally garnered fame as a member of boy band Menudo in the 1980s. After leaving the group he has released several studio albums achieving mainstream success since the 1990’s and has composed/produced multiple songs for
major artists.


His albums Frio (1994), Vagabundo (1996), Songbirds & Roosters (1998), Libertad del Alma (2001), Mad Love (2004),  El Teatro de lo Absurdo (2007), Vino (2008), Amor Vincit Omnia (2009), Vida (2013), Teatro (2013) and Vida (2013) produced many international radio friendly hits in Latin America which became staples of his career established and him as an international solo artist. He continues to write and produce solo albums up to 2013’s Vida.


Robi Draco Rosa is also an accomplished song writer helping launch Ricky Martin’s musical career to international
levels. Rosa wrote and produced several of Martin’s hit singles including “Maria”, “Living la Vida Loca”, “The Cup of Live” the anthem for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and “She Bangs” among many others.


In 2016 in 2017, he played in two shows to sold out crowds in the State Theatre and The Howard Theatre. Currently, he
is on his 2017 tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of his most largely acclaimed album Vagabundo.
